RECYCLE BANK

www.recyclebank.com

I stumbled upon this company that has been in business since 2004 that I had never heard of: Recycle Bank.  It is a program designed to encourage everyone to recycle and doing so, earn points that can be used for coupons, purchases and more.  This is something great that has been going on in other places with huge success, and just now made it's way to our community.  Joining is free!  Check it out!  Recycling is something everyone shouldn't just be thinking about, but doing.

Real Street Jam 4.0
Hip Hop Real Street Jam 4.0 Dallas Texas
This weekend was the 4th year for Real Street Jam in Dallas.  The jam consisted of dj's, full bands, solo mc's, graffiti covered walls, fine artists, as well as competitions for skateboarding, bmx and break dancing.  Tons of sponsors and supporters that made this event what it was include: vitamin water, poor vida, dfw skateboarding, empire bmx, rec shop, vigilante, music group, fresh kauffe, octoh boards, armaudu, kapture media, loyal king, train(me), gcrew and all the artists that set up to display.  Several dj's were inside and out that kept the party going all day during the events and all the time in between.  The skill level was amazing to see for every event.  There was a line at the gate all day long for viewers to get in.  I can't even imagine the number of folks who stopped in throughout the day.  It took about a month to get the warehouse ready.  General clean up, all the local graff writers that came and painted the walls, as well as all the guys that helped build ramps for the riders deserve a ton of credit.  Visitors and competitors traveled near and far for this event.  I am glad I was able to be apart of it, and can't wait for the next one.  Here are a few of my favorite photos.  Enjoy.
